The only thing about Lindsay Lohan still making headlines these days is the status of her relationship with the openly gay DJ Samantha Ronson and whether the actress is ready to come out.
However, Lindsay Lohan continues to keep everyone guessing saying things like "Everyone knows who I’m dating," and then refuse to say it is Samantha. The actress insisted that she isn't a lesbian and barely copes to being bisexual, but admitted that she's dating a "wonderful" woman with whom she's madly in love, according to a new interview with the starlet.
In the upcoming issues of Harper's Bazaar magazine, the 22-year-old actress scratched the surface of her romantic life saying, "I think it's pretty obvious who I'm seeing. I think it's no shock to anyone that it's been going on for quite some time. ... She's a wonderful person and I love her very much."
Asked about dating other girls before, Lohan played coy saying "I don't know," but when she was asked if she considers herself bisexual, "Maybe," she replied. However, don't go calling her a lesbian, because she made it perfectly clear she's not.
"I don't want to classify myself," she explained in the interview. "First of all, you never know what's going to happen — tomorrow, in a month, a year from now, five years from now," she said, adding that she appreciates people and "it doesn't matter who they are" and she feels blessed to be able to state that.
So blessed she even told her 15-year-old sister Ali that it's "okay to like a boy or a girl if you're comfortable with it and it's something you believe you want to do."
"And I told her not to be afraid of who she wants to be," she added.
Both Lindsay and Samantha have never publicly talked about the nature of their relationship, except for very small hints, but the reason none of them has so far spoke about it is that if they did, the relationship would never work. "I feel like it jinxes it," Lindsay said.
"It’s hard. The second I start talking about whomever I'm seeing, a month or two later it's failed," she stated about her reluctance to talk about it.
Keeping her relationships safe from the media takes on extra importance after her DUI and rehab stints in 2007, which she concedes had not been all fun and revelry. "I was going to clubs all the time and it was not okay," she recalled. "I was so alone."
However, she is a "different person" now and she takes full responsibility for her downward spiral and has moved on with her life. "I did it to myself and I have to deal with the consequences. I'm thankful for what I can take out of it. Now I feel clear," she explained.
Lohan was also asked if she had any plans for a wedding in the future. "Eventually," she said. However, she was not certain if she would be tying the knot with a man or a woman. "I don't know," she had replied when asked.
