Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan took their mother out on a date Sunday, when they dined together at New York’s Bar Pitti.

Dina Lohan, Ann Dexter Jones and their daughters seemed very comfortable with each other, like it was not the first time they hang out together.

Onlookers said that Lindsay and Samantha slipped out for a smoke break after the dinner.

Earlier this month, Lindsay was seen spending time with the Ronson clan in Miami, where everybody had a really good time and the two stars did not hide their affection for each other.

Rumors say that Lohan’s closest pal is about to write a book. A source close to Ronson told E! Online that the book is supposed to be about the deejay, but it is obvious that there will be plenty of material on Lohan, as everybody wants to read about her.

Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, says he found out about Ronson’s intention to write a book, but he has not directly spoken about the matter neither with his daughter, or with her pal. However, he expressed her anger over the subject, saying he had “shut up about this long enough.” So he decided to be open and admit he thinks Ronson is only using his daughter to get fame.

“People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she's writing a book? I am at wit's end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay's best interest.”

The rumors were not confirmed by Lohan or Ronson, but Michael Lohan still hopes his daughter will open her eyes and realize “who the people using her are.” In the meantime, Lindsay’s father is busy making marriage plans with his girlfriend Erin Muller. He confirmed he asked Muller to marry him, but he has not made an official announcement yet, because he wants to wait until “some family issues are resolved.”
