It’s been just several days since Lindsay Lohan checked out of rehab and returned to Hollywood with her new boyfriend Riley Giles, but she’s making headlines already.

Having already caused a divorce while in rehab, Lindsay is once again the focus of a scandal of the same nature, after Riley reportedly dumped his fiancée, Bree Tierney, a week before hooking up with Lindsay whom he met while in rehab at the Cirque Lodge clinic in Utah.

"Riley just stopped calling Bree and never told her about Lindsay," Tierney’s mom, Tess, told Us Magazine. "She found out by seeing photos. It destroyed her."

Next, Bree was quoted by the National Enquirer as saying that she "loved Riley and Lindsay stole him."

"I met her at a meeting while they were still patients at Cirque, and I just knew something was up. She came into the meeting with Riley, and she comes over and sits next to me, being overly nice. She was complimenting me on my hair and trying to be my friend. It didn’t seem sincere at all," Bree explained.

"A few days later, I get a text message from Riley telling me he wanted to ‘take a break.’ I knew instantly it was because of Lindsay ... I’ve stuck by Riley through the good and the bad," she continued, also remembering how Riley proposed to her about three years ago.

"We lived together for three years and planned on being together forever. But when he finally confessed to me that he had sex with Lindsay in one of the stairwells at Cirque — that was it, we were done," 22-year-old Bree added.

Apparently, Bree was also shocked to discover Riley proposed to her with a fake diamond engagement ring.

"I went to get it repaired because some of the diamonds fell out," she recalled.

"I wanted to scream when the jeweler told me the stones were cheap cubic zirconias."

On the other side of the barricade, the 25-year-old snowboarding ace denied ever being engaged to Bree.

"I broke up with Bree a week before I started dating Lindsay. We had dated for almost two years, but it’s not like we were engaged or anything,” In Touch Weekly quoted Riley as saying.

As far as Lindsay is concerned, she didn’t comment a thing on Riley’s last relationship, but was quick to talk about him in recent interviews and also make public appearances together.

"We started out as friends," she told In Touch magazine. "We met about two months ago while doing activities at Cirque. We both enjoyed rock climbing."

One of the things Lindsay appreciates about Riley most is that he isn’t affected by Hollywood. "He finds it all very funny," Lindsay said. "That’s what I love about him. He has a good sense of humor."

While Riley will remain in Utah, Lindsay had to return to Hollywood and start working on a new movie "Dare to Love Me."

"I’ll probably go to Utah on a weekend and he will hopefully come to visit me in LA," Lindsay said.
