LifeBook T2010 and U810, The Latest Tech Jewels From Fujitsu

Fujitsu has just made public its launching a new convertible powerful tablet, called LifeBook T2010. The brand new product will be the latest item added by Fujitsu in its already popular tablet/mini-notebook PC series and its features seem to be quite outstanding.

First of all and maybe the most impressive feature of the new LifeBook T2010 is its offering a huge battery life of up to 11 hours. Secondly the tablet PC’s reliability and portability make it a proper travel companion for travelers that need such a tech tool during their holyday or business expeditions. Thanks to its new 3-axis Shock Sensor system the handy mini-notebook also assures its customers that they are not going to be easily affected by data loss that could occur because of simple carelessness or unforeseen events and accidents.

Furthermore Fujitsu’s ultimate tablet PC, which weighs only 3.5 pounds, does feature also an impressive security system that prevents the unauthorized access to the data within the device. Fujitsu has created for its new dynamic products a wide diversity of locks and security measures, such as the BIOS lock, the LifeBook Lock, the Hard Disk Lock, the Anti-Theft Lock and Smartcard Support and so on. LifeBook T2010 has also a Fingerprint Recognition Technology system, so that only the real owners of the device could access their data.

The LifeBook T2010 can support up to 160GB of storage with a maximum of 4GB of memory and it integrates 802.11 draft-n wireless and Bluetooth. According to Fujitsu, the LifeBook T2010 notebook is available immediately for $1,599

Also, from September Fujitsu will start selling the world's smallest tablet convertible LifeBook U810.  

Weighing 1.56 pounds, with a 5.6-inch WSVGA Crystal View LED display and with a full QWERTY keyboard, U810 full function mini notebook capable of running standard notebook applications.

The device features a 800MHz Intel A110 processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, 40GB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Atheros Super AG 802.11a/b/g wireless, 10/100 NIC, USB 2.0 port, VGA port, CompactFlash slot, Secure Digital slot, QWERTY keyboard and a Fingerprint sensor.

With a standard 4-cell battery, it delivers up to 5.5 hours of computing time.

Previously available only in Japan, the LifeBook U810 will go on sale in US in September 2007, for a recommended price of $999.
