Pop princess Kylie Minogue has reportedly reunited with former boyfriend Olivier Martinez, after one year apart, and this time marriage and children are at the top of the agenda.
British paper the Daily Mail reported Monday that Kylie Minogue and French actor Olivier Martinez have decided to continue their 4-year relationship, after a 1-year break that apparently convinced them both they were meant for each other.
An unnamed source, allegedly a friend of the Australian singer, told the paper that Kylie has sketched out a “life plan” that includes marriage and children, something they reportedly did not agree on before.
Minogue, 39, and Martinez, 42, whom she fondly calls “Ollie,” broke up in 2007, just months after the petite singer had recovered from breast cancer and had begun her return to the public life. Neither said much of their separation, but insisted that they remained close friends.
Minogue did reveal however that Martinez was by her side throughout her sickness and that he supported her wonderfully, calling him “the most honorable man” she knew.
Her knight in shining armor has reportedly returned to her, according to the unnamed friend’s sayings.
“Kylie has taken him back - with a new set of rules. Ollie has agreed to try for a baby. That was always the stumbling block in their relationship,” the friend told the Daily Mail. “They have both been single for a year and Kylie has realized she has never had anyone that has matched up to him. Ollie has told her he is ready to start a family, to marry her and to settle down.”
The paper goes on to report that the two have decided to adopt a baby, should their attempts to have one naturally fail.
They were photographed in late January walking arm-in-arm in Paris, further fuelling rumors of reconciliation.
