Kodak introduced several new products including its first
media player, the Kodak Theatre HD Player, and its first wireless frames to
access third-party content sites.
The Kodak Theatre HD Player is an interactive device with a
matchless remote control purposed at bringing photos and videos from the home
network to the high-definition television. It is also meant to link to online
media like podcasts, Internet radio and other web-based content.
The content can be loaded via Wi-Fi, USB, or SD cards. The
unit offers an integrated Blu-ray player and the ability to tap into photo
sharing services like the Kodak Gallery and Flickr. The product is programmed to be out in the market in September 2008 at a price
of $299, 99.
In addition, Kodak presented the fashionably minuscule Zi6

second) and in a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. The Zi6 Pocket Video Cam has an
LCD display of 2.4 inches, an SD memory card slot and up to 32 GB in size. The
AA Ni-MH batteries used to power the device allow 1 hour of recording and a
special function developed by Kodak allows the user to output and upload data
directly to YouTube.
Starting September 2008, the black and pink colored Zi6
Pocket Video Camera will be available for a price of $179, 95.
The company’s surprise basket full of goodies holds two new
wireless digital picture frames - the 10-inch W1020 and 8-inch W820 - and two
