Kid Rock is apparently not over Pamela Anderson, as he is still harboring resentment over an alleged miscarriage his former wife suffered during their brief marriage.

Rapper/rocker Kid Rock tells Rolling Stone in a new interview that Pamela Anderson lied about suffering a miscarriage last year, when they were still married.

Kid told the magazine how he and his ladylove were arguing over the phone when he shared his plans of delaying a visit to Vancouver, where Pam was filming a movie at the time.

“She's in Vancouver shooting a movie, and I have Lakers seats on the floor, and I'm gonna go to the Lakers game with my friend Jesse James,” Rock said of that particular seed of discontent between the spouses.

Pam was apparently not impressed and told him, “You don't care about me, blah, blah, blah.” Rock says, “She finally comes up with this: I just had a miscarriage…and hangs the phone up.”

Kid Rock tells Rolling Stone that he was not aware of Pamela being pregnant at the time and the news determined him to take the soonest flight to Vancouver. Only to find his then-wife partying and consuming alcohol.

“When I get there, she's partying at this restaurant, drinking champagne, jumping on the tables. I'm thinking, That's a quick recovery from a miscarriage,” he recalled.

It may have happened last year, but the memories are still fresh for Kid. And he and his former wife still run into each other – like last month, when they both attended the MTV Video Music Awards; and so did Tommy Lee, Pam’s other former husband.

The Playboy bunny’s two exes even got into a little brawl, to the delight of some of the guests. Kid later said the Mötley Crüe drummer was deliberately provoking him.

As to Kid Rock’s doubts over Pamela’s alleged miscarriage, she told Rolling Stone: “I hope his album does well. I hope he's happy in life. We were married for four months. If he has nothing nice to say about me, then please tell him to stop talking about me.”

Kid is now reportedly seeing someone new, while Pam and Rick Salomon, Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, were granted a marriage license in Las Vegas last month. Kid and Pam married in July 2006. Their divorce was finalized in February this year.

“Rock N Roll Jesus,” Kid Rock's new album, is set for release on October 9.
