Reality TV starlet Khloe Kardashian spent about three hours in jail on Friday for violating probation stemming from a drunk driving arrest last year.

Although Kardashian’s stay in the jail was brief, it did not lack drama.

Minutes after her arrival at the jail located near Los Angeles, someone called in a bomb threat and authorities were forced to lock down the entire building, Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Whitmore said the bomb threat was not related to Kardashian’s arrival at that jail. The starlet was placed in a holding cell, or solitary confinement, for her safety. However, the call was a hoax.

According to a report from TMZ.com, K.K was freezing cold in the solitary confinement cell and asked the guards for a jacket. The guards refused to help her. While she was freezing, Khloe had to watch videos on how to be a good prisoner and how to avoid getting staph infections. Fortunately, after 173 minutes she was free again. K.K. was released earlier than her sentence stipulated due to the jail overcrowding.

"We treated Ms. Kardashian as we would any other inmate with similar charges and circumstances," Whitmore told The Associated Press.

Kardashian, the youngest daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian, stars in E! Entertainment Television's reality show called "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".

The 24-year-old was sentenced to up to 30 days in jail after she acknowledged the fact that she violated her probation by failing to enroll in an alcohol education class which involved cleaning up roadside trash.
