PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is an animal rights organization, claimed to be the biggest in the world, founded in the United States. PETA is known for its anti fur campaigns and for spreading their message that “animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment." PETA focuses on factory farming, fur farming, animal testing and animals used in entertainment, claiming that this kind of treatment is immoral and that animals shouldn’t suffer for our enjoyment.

 The animal rights organization has been widely criticized by different political figures for their aggressive activism, acts that have even been compared to “terrorism” by some.

The latest PETA anti-fur adds has Khloe Kardashian posing nude, the poster reading “fur? I’d rather go naked.” Khloe Kardashian is a television personality best known for appearing in the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

The actress has stated that after she was shown how animals were treated she was truly offended and wanted to do the add more. She also stated that everybody should watch the videos, even if they are disturbing, in order to understand what kind of punishment animals go through for no apparent reason.

The latest PETA campaign seems too aggressive and some say it’s cheap. Using “sex” asa away to capture attention is not doing animals any good and in some small manner it diminishes women’s image in today’s society. Protecting animals, by exploiting the vibe a picture of a naked woman sends is definitely not the right way for PETA.
