Just Another Day On The Golf Course As Woods Strikes Again

Woods continues his winning streak and extended his number of consecutive victories to five, in what looks like a perfect season for him. The Sunday win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational put Woods’ name where it usually is: on top of the list, with a bright … season ahead of him this year.

This time, it was Bart Bryant’s turn to admit defeat in front of Woods, who made a 25-foot birdie on the final hole. “It feels good, it really does,” said Woods, satisfied with what he called a good tournament. His one-on-one with Bryant became more and more interesting as the duel between the two came to an amazing end.

No wonder Woods wasn’t even aware when he threw his cap to the ground: “You know, when Stevie handed me my hat, I was like, ‘How in the hell did he get my hat?’ Evidently, it came off. I don’t know how it came off, but it came off,” Woods said as quoted by FoxSports.

Everyone said it was going to be Woods’ season this year, and so far he seems to be handling comfortably his position as a leader. This victory even made Arnold Palmer happy: “He said he was proud of me, the way I played,” said Woods according to the same source.

Woods’ victory almost came as a surprise to Bryant, in the sense that he wasn’t watching: “I heard the cheers, and I got up and left.”

Indeed, it is time for Woods to show us once again what he does best: win without any doubts, and prove that he truly deserves to be top of the list in golf.
