It is said that a picture is the equivalent of a thousand words, but in some cases can even worth $20 million and the most current case of this sort is the photo of the Jolie-Pitt newborn twins, The New York Daily news reported.
The official photo of Vivienne Marcheline and her twin brother Knox Leon could be sold for as much as $15 million or even $20 million, estimates say. According to French newspaper Nice Matin, Brangelina sold the exclusive rights to the first photographs of the twins to an unnamed U.S. magazine for $11 million. The two famous actors plan to give the money to charity.
Well-known actress Angelina Jolie gave birth at a hospital in southern France said on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Oscar winner gave birth by caesarean section at the Lenval hospital located on the fancy Promenade des Anglais waterfront drive in Nice.
Husband and father Brad Pitt was at Jolie’s side as she gave birth to a 2.27 kg (5 lbs) baby girl and to her 2.28 kg brother. Jolie chose to name her daughter Vivienne Marcheline after the first name of her late mother, also an actress who died of cancer last year. The babies were born a minute apart.
Jolie's doctor, Michel Sussmann, said in an interview with Reuters that the two parents and their newly-born children are in “excellent health.” The actress was under epidural and was able to speak to her husband who was "perfectly calm" during the birth despite the strong emotions.
After joking about the fact that Pitt was his assistant, Sussmann said that the 44-year-old actor cut the umbilical cords after the Caesarean delivery.
"He was very happy. ... The emotion was very strong for him," Dr. Sussmann said.
The Jolie-Pitt family now has 8 members. The four other Jolie-Pitt children are: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.
