Newly formed celebrity couple Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were spotted hanging out yet again, taking their relationship to the next level: meeting the friends.
Aniston, 39, and Mayer, 30, paid a visit to the actress' best friend and "Friends" co-star, Courteney Cox and her husband, David Arquette, over the weekend.
Cox, 43, is said to be very protective of Aniston, who she supported
following her high-profile marriage split with Brad Pitt in 2005. "The
Dirt" actress was rumoured to have disapproved of Aniston’s last
long-term boyfriend Vince Vaughn, who she dated for 18 months before
splitting in December 2006.
Aniston and Mayer, who only went public in recent weeks while the actress was in Miami shooting "Marley & Me" alongside Owen Wilson, reportedly snuggled on the Arquette's deck as they watched the sunset.
Mayer said recently of his romance with Aniston that, "This is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control. This is me living my life."
Since the first pictures of the couple were published in late April, the pair was separated while Aniston wrapped up "Marley & Me" and Mayer visited Hong Kong for a Coach boutique opening but they reunited on Saturday in Los Angeles.
"They spent the day together at Jen's place," a source said as quoted by People. "They were happy to see each other."
