Well, well, well. It seems that Taylor Swift’s
not-very-subtle remarks have reached their target. Literally. Thus, Joe Jonas
decided to share with his fans his version of the much talked about breakup
story by offering details on his MySpace page.
The member of the Jonas Brothers wrote that the problems
that came up in his relationship with the 18-year-old were impossible to solve,
as they led to “a change of heart.” Nevertheless, the teenage heartthrob made
the cheating issue very clear, explaining that he had never cheated on any of
his girlfriends, including Taylor Swift. He said that in spite of the fact that
finding him guilty could have made a certain person “feel better,” he would not
admit an accusation that was not true.
Taylor Swift told Ellen DeGeneres during her show that Joe
Jonas broke up with her on the phone, but her ex, who is now dating 22-year-old
actress Camilla Belle, said that it was not him who ended things prematurely.
He wrote on his MySpace page that he had phoned Taylor Swift
so as to talk about their relationship and that the singer, who has just
released her new album “Fearless,” did not like what she was told and ended the
conversation after… uhm… 27 seconds.
“I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone
calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is
willing to talk,” Joe Jonas explained.
The member of the Jonas Brothers concluded his post by
wishing all the best to Taylor Swift and saying that he had to put the whole
situation in plain words for his fans, who might have been confused by all the
fuss and buzz around the teenage breakup.
