Here comes another round of the war between
celebrities and paparazzi: this time, an episode between Jessica Simpson’s
hairdresser and the paparazzi that were trying to get a picture of the star.
According to reports, hairstylist Ken Paves
has been injured by paparazzi outside a Los
Angeles restaurant. The incident happened Saturday
night.
The country singer and her entourage were exiting
the popular restaurant Madeo when photographers grouped together, trying to
capture a smile of the 28-year-old singer. Her hairstylist and another friend
tried to cover Jessica, but their mission became a dangerous one, as Paves was
hit in the face with a camera. The courageous friend ended up bleeding out of
his face and was immediately taken to Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center
in West Hollywood.
No charges have been filled against the
photographer.
Simpson starred with her then-husband Nick
Lachey in the MTV reality show “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” After the show
she began contemplating an acting career and made her debut in a motion picture
as Daisy Duke in “The Dukes of Hazzard” in 2005. She also starred in “Blonde
Ambition,” her third movie that premiered in December 2007, which proved to be
a flop and was soon released on DVD. Jessica Simpson’s latest movie, “Private Valentine:
Blonde & Dangerous,” will be available in stores on DVD starting with
February 3, 2009.
Ken Paves appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey
Show” where he created a series of make-over for her audience. Paves had some
guest appearances in Simpson’s show on MTV and in several entertainment shows,
where he provided hair care tips.
Paves has worked with celebrities such as
Eva Longoria, Carmen Electra, Kim Cattrall, Christina Applegate, Jennifer Lopez
and Jessica Biel.
