Rest assured, Jessica Simpson won’t be cheering Tony Romo from the tribunes at the Cowboys playoff game against the New York Giants on Sunday.
According to New York Post’s Page Six, the starlet’s publicist Cindy Berger confirmed she won’t be attending the game, instead she’ll be watching it from home.
"She is not attending. She's working on a new album," Berger said, adding that "She will not be there, but she'll be watching [on TV] and cheering [Romo] on."
The singer has previously attended several of her new man’s games and got blamed for Romo’s disappointing performance. Dallas Cowboys fans claimed she was a "distraction" to the quarterback. However, while Simpson won’t be present at the game, pictures of her face might slip in the tribunes as fans of other teams reportedly created masks of her face to wear on Sunday’s game, in order to distract Romo.
Another thing fans could pick on if Romo won’t give his best, is the short break he and Simpson spent in Los Cabos, Mexico over the weekend with a few friends, including fellow Cowboys Jason Witten, Marc Columbo and Bobby Carpenter.
The two jetted off to Mexico where they were spotted relaxing on a patio and Simpson spending time in the pool.
According to reports, Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips urged the players to take a break from football for a couple of days.
"People will look for blame if you lose and will basically let all that stuff go when you win because they don't think it was relevant and it isn't," Phillips reportedly said.
