American pop singer and actress Jessica Simpson is reportedly very upset about the remarks made by former Baywatch hottie Pamela Anderson as a response to her wearing a "Real Girls Eat Meat" T-shirt, the English tabloid The Sun reported citing a source close to the singer.
Simpson, who has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits, and has two gold and three multi-platinum RIAA-certified albums, isn’t just upset and hurt, but to say she’s mad about it would be an understatement, the source told the newspaper.
The 28-year-old singer is “disgusted” at Pamela Anderson’s comments and “fully intended to go after her,” but her family managed to keep her calm and away from a full-fledged Hollywood quarrel.
According to the above mentioned source, Simpson’s parents told their angry daughter that Pam Anderson would love her to respond because that would get her the press attention “she's so desperate for."
It all started when Jessica Simpson wore a "Real Girls Eat Meat" T-shirt. Apparently, Pamela Anderson – who recently got back with Tommy Lee – did not like Simpson’s T-shirt and called her a "b-tch" and a "whore" on an Australian radio show.
“This is the first time I’ve heard about it – she wasn’t referring to actual cows and chickens, I think she was referring [to] men,” said the former Baywatch babe.
