To this day, there was no official confirmation regarding Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo's split almost two weeks ago, but rumors persisted the two had parted ways. However, the bubbly blonde and her Dallas Cowboys quarterback reunited in Texas for Memorial Day weekend.

The couple, who are said to have briefly broken up recently, seem to have worked things out and were spotted having dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in downtown Dallas’ Victory Park  on Saturday night, according to Alan Peppard of the Dallas Morning News.

After finishing their meal, the two stopped to say hello to Cowboys receiver-kick returner Isaiah Stanback, who was dining at N9NE with his parents, on their way out. The pair made time for a second date on Sunday when they had brunch.

After their alleged split, which presumably occurred partly because Simpson's dad got too involved while she publicly spoke too much about their relationship, also referring to Romo as her "future husband" in recent interviews, Romo and Simpson reunited for Ashlee's nuptials. But that only happened because People magazine made a deal with the Simpsons for the wedding pictures, and both Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo had to be there.   

Jessica, who accompanied her parents on a short vacation to Mexico, immediately after her sister Ashlee's wedding to Pete Wentz, was seen wearing a Dallas Cowboys cap while leaving Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Thursday.

Most recently, Simpson was rumored to have cheated on Romo with Cameron Diaz’s one-time flame, Jared Leto, which is why she and Romo reportedly split right before Ashlee's wedding. however, Leto’s manager rejected the claims saying "There is no truth whatsoever to the article," referring to the story in the National Enquirer.
