Jessica Alba’s publicist confirmed that the actress married
her boyfriend Cash Warren during a private ceremony. So private that the couple
even took their families by surprise. When informed by US Weekly magazine about
his sister’s marriage, the actress’ brother Josh Alba was certainly surprised.
"My sister!? I'm going to have to call her!" he
exclaimed.
The couple got engaged in December, after Alba had announced
she was expecting a baby girl, which was due to be born this summer.
Things have not always been bright for Alba and her
boyfriend, who have been a couple since autumn 2004. The two had their bad
periods and reportedly broke up last summer. Previous reports claimed that one
of the reasons of their split was the marriage issue. Apparently, Alba wanted
to marry and Warren was not yet ready for that. But everything seems to have
turned out fine now, and Alba recently called Warren her soul mate in an interview.
"It's kind of a dream come true," she said, revealing
her engagement ring.
Asked about her pregnancy, Alba said she was totally at ease
with it.
"Being pregnant is kind of like a sedative," Alba
has said, as quoted by the Telegraph.co.uk. "I don't get as anxious about
things. Like right now, a movie coming out, you know, over analyzing
everything."
She also said she hadn’t exactly planned her pregnancy, but
that didn’t make her less excited about having a baby. In a January interview
to promote “The Eye,” the actress said she thought Warren would make “the best
father.”
Alba, 27, met Warren, 31, on the set of “The Fantastic Four,”
where Warren worked as a director’s assistant.
