Paramount has scheduled a new comedy production for the 20th June, 2008. Even the first hints at the film generate smiles, as Mike Myers will be the protagonist in the new movie, The Love Guru. The amazing appearance of Jessica Alba will be joint with Verne Troyer’s and Romany Malco’s .

The shooting begins in September, in Toronto and judging by Myers’ track record at the box office, this one too will be a great success.

Pitka, the protagonist,  an American left at the gates of an ashram, will be raised by the Indian guru’s . Back in US, he will seek to earn a fortune by his mystery skills of setting intimacy issues between estranged spouses. His abilities are tested when he tries to get back together a star hockey player, Darren Roanoke (Malco) and his wife, who was dating a rival team’s player.

The team's owner Jane Bullard (Alba) and Coach Cherkov (Troyer) are also preoccupied by the altered relationship between the two, as his sports performance is damaged. The 40-year-old "Bullard Curse" must be broken and thus they can win the championship, but only if Pitka succeeds with his magical powers. In the meanwhile, Pitka will love-dream of Jane Bullard and..who knows what will happen?

Jessica Alba can be currently seen co-starring Paul Rudd and Winona Ryder in The Ten and also in the upcoming comedy Good Luck Chuck.
