The roster of Hollywood mommies has just grown by one: “Fantastic Four” actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren welcomed a baby girl Saturday, June 7.
Named Honor Marie Warren, the baby girl is Alba and Warren’s first child. She was born Saturday in Los Angeles, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the 27-year-old star’s rep, Brad Cafarelli confirmed.
The proud mom and dad became wife and husband just weeks before their child came into the world. Alba and Warren wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. They exchanged their vows most discreetly, with Cafarelli confirming the change of marital status to People magazine a day later.
A source told the magazine no one attended the wedding besides the bride and groom.
Alba and Warren, 31, met while working on “Fantastic Four,” for which Warren was the director’s assistant. They started dating in the fall of 2004 and became engaged last December, shortly after announcing they were expecting a baby.
The newlyweds recently moved into a $4 million Beverly Hills home, where Alba has been busy preparing the “nest” for her child. The actress had long ago confessed she was in “frantic nesting mode” and that she would take time off from acting in order to get the house ready for the baby.
Speaking to Fit Pregnancy magazine recently, Alba shared some of her views on parenting, saying she does not want to be her child’s “best friend” but the mom. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line,” she added.
