Taking full advantage of their celebrity status, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had a wonderful time at the Western States Inauguration Ball last night. The couple also decided to take advantage of this occasion to put an end once and for all to rumors about them getting into a divorce.
Jen wore a stunning electric blue gown with a dramatic updo, and she looked absolutely radiant as her tiny little husband clung to her as fierce as he could. They seemed very much in love, very united on the red carpet, while waiting for Barack Obama and his family to show up.
Earlier this month, Lopez denied any divorce rumors in “In Touch Weekly,” saying that people think she is getting divorced if they do not see a wedding ring on her finger, which is totally wrong, for she never considered divorce an option.
Which is why, last night in Washington, she wanted to clear up that confusion entirely by wearing her wedding ring again.
The couple thought they would give a Hispanic flair by their presence at the Union Station inauguration celebration. And they thought well, because people were delighted to listen to Marc Anthony perform “You Sang to Me,” a song he confessed to have written for his wife, along with her. The two took the stage to entertain the guests and ended their duet with a passionate kiss in front of everybody.
Jen and Marc renewed their vows in October after four years of marriage.
Other stars who were present at the event included Wilmer Valderrama, Tony Plana, David Archuleta, Alejandro Sanz, Paulina Rubio, Geraldo Rivera, Shakira, Luis Fonsi and many more.
