Thursday,
Jennifer Aniston and costar Owen Wilson strolled down the red carpet in Los Angeles at the Mann Village Theater
in Westwood, for the “Marley and
Me” premiere, in which Aniston portrays Jennifer Grogan.
The movie
tells the story of a neurotic dog that comes to teach the Grogan family very
important life lessons, the 39-year-old lead actress having called it a true
story about a family and their life.
Nevertheless,
the question on everybody’s lips was why Jennifer Aniston had agreed to pose
for the cover of GQ magazine wearing nothing but a necktie and what message she
was trying to send.
Unfortunately,
when asked that question, the “Friends” TV series star replied that she had not
aimed to make any sort of statement through her nearly nude picture for the
magazine.
Aniston’s
boyfriend John Mayer, along with fellow cast members from “Marley and Me” Eric
Dane and Alan Arkin, voiced their support for Jennifer’s decision to pose for GQ,
both actors saying that she looked fabulous in the photo and that she would always
look great, at any age.
Jennifer
Aniston rose to fame in mid 1990s, for her portrayal of Rachel Green in the
popular “Friends” sitcom, a role that earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden
Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Since that
time, she has managed to become a household Hollywood name, being cast in
movies such as “Bruce Almighty,”
„Office Space,” „Rumor Has It,” „ Along Came Polly” and „The Break-Up.”
As for her personal
life, Aniston was married to fellow star Brad Pitt for five years, from July
2000 to January 2005.
