Shortly after two of the most famous Hollywood singles -
Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson – started filming the movie “Marley and Me” in
Miami, rumors started to spread about a possible romance between them.
According to Star Magazine, the co-stars have been spotted
having fun together in Miami and seeming very close to each other.
Jennifer and Owen are playing husband and wife in the film
directed by David Frankel. The film, also featuring Alan Arkin, is based on the
memoir by John Grogan and tells the story of a family who learns life lessons
from their adorable and naughty dog.
The romance between the two actors in the movie seems to continue off
screen, as a crew member tells Star Magazine.
"The hugging didn't end when the cameras stopped rolling. They were
very flirty together, far more than you would expect. In between takes they
were hanging onto each other. They are very friendly," he said.
A friend of Aniston also confirmed the rumor. She said that
Aniston had been worried about working with Owen, but she was surprised to
discover he actually was a nice guy, who she loved to hang around with.
"She wasn't looking forward to the film at first because she was
worried about working with Owen, but he has turned out to be a real surprise.
She's finding out that he's a terrific guy who's fun to be around," her
friend told Star.
"Jennifer is known for being a recluse on set. But she's having so much
fun hanging out with Owen. She's just really relaxed and happy, which is nice
to see," she added.
This is the first time Owen, 39, returns to a film set since
his reported suicide attempt last summer. The filming started on March 10 and
will continue until mid-May, Twentieth Century Fox said.
John Grogan expressed his content with the casting. “I'm
actually really thrilled to have Owen Wilson portray me. We don't look anything
alike but I think his personality will be a great fit to my own,” he told the
magazine People. “And my wife, Jenny, is thrilled with being played by Jennifer
Anniston and so am I. What's not to like, right?”
