Can Janet Jackson really rock with us again? After
postponing several concerts due to health problems, the singer will reprise her
Rock Witchu tour on Wednesday night at the Verizon
Center in Washington, D.C.,
E! Online cited Janet Jackson’s manager as saying.
Moreover, the previously unrevealed illness the star suffers
from is said to be vestibular migraine, which apparently forced Janet Jackson
to reschedule nine shows up to now.
“After a thorough medical evaluation, it has been confirmed
that Janet’s symptoms are being caused by a rare form of migraine called
vestibular migraine or migraine-associated vertigo for which she is currently
receiving treatment,” a statement released by the singer’s camp and acquired by
E! News read.
Janet Jackson was transported to a hospital last month, after
she fell ill during a sound check before a Montreal gig. Thus, she canceled the
September 29 show, as well as several others and hasn’t performed ever since.
Kenneth Crear, the star’s manager, reportedly said that in
spite of the fact that Janet Jackson wanted to return on stage as quickly as
possible in order not to disappoint her admirers, she was unable to show up for
the concerts due to her illness. He said that being a top performer can’t possibly
allow Jackson to
hit the stage without being in perfect shape.
“She’s a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top
of her game to give her fans the show they expect. She’s feeling much
better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour,” E! Online quoted
Kenneth Crear as saying.
Janet Jackson’s postponed shows in Montreal,
Philadelphia, Boston,
Greensboro, N.C.,
Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale,

will be rescheduled.
