Janet Jackson Postpones "Rock Witchu" Shows at Doctor’s Order

Pop star Janet Jackson decided to postpone some of her future performances within her "Rock Witchu" tour after a doctor advised her to do so. The youngest member of the Jacksons was scheduled to resume her series of performances on Monday night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York.

However, Janet Jackson’s fans were surely disappointed to see a message posted on the resort and casino's Web site which informed them that the show had been canceled. Several other shows were canceled including Thursday night's show at Madison Square Garden in New York. Don’t worry though, the performances will be rescheduled and you’ll get your chance to see Janet and, who knows, maybe one of her b*****s again.

Janet Jackson, who was ranked by Billboard magazine as one of the top ten best-selling music artists in the history of contemporary music, was taken to a medical facility in Montreal in late September right before she was getting ready to start a gig there.

Nobody - besides the doctors, family and her agent of course - knows what is ailing the singer.

"Rock Witchu" is Janet Jackson’s first North American tour in 7 years. This is the ninth show that the singer has missed on this tour.

According to the singer’s Web site, the concert planned for Madison Square Garden on October 16 has been postponed until November 1.
