According to court documents filed on Friday, Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears has obtained new restraining orders against his daughter’s former manager, Osama "Sam" Lutfi, as well as against her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib and a lawyer.
The Associated Press reports that the first two had been trying to gain control over the singer's affairs. Sustaining this idea, Jamie Spears says that there are cell phone records which show "numerous telephone conversations" and text messages with her ex-manager and former boyfriend.
A year ago Sam Lutfi was still Britney's manager, until a restraining order alleged the fact that in an attempt to control the singer’s business, he had drugged her. In addition to that he has also cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. As if all this was not enough, in order to gain control over everything, Lutfi mistreated her by yelling at her.
While Lutfi was minding his and her own business, Britney rocked the tabloid world when she started a relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, sometime in January 2008.
Their relationship fell apart shortly after Ghalib began providing his photo agency with exclusive details and intimate photos of the singer.
Last October, Britney was placed under co-conservatorship of her father and attorney Andrew Wallete, who were granted indefinite control over her life and career. As for Britney the person, well, she was involuntarily held at UCLA Medical Center for a year-long psychiatric observation in order to return the singer to her former glory.
According to the Los Angeles Superior Court papers the restraining orders against the 34-year-old ex manager Sam Lutfi and 36-year-old Adnan Ghalib, forbid them to contact Britney Spears or come within 250 yards near her, her property or family members.
On the other hand, Jamie Spears also managed to get a restraining order against lawyer Jon Eardley, who was involved in challenging Britney’s conservatorship proceedings.
