Jamie Lynn’s baby girl, Maddie Briann is a normal, healthy and famous baby. A source told People Magazine that the baby had a “full head of hair” and the parents were “doing terrific.”

The baby was born at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, at a hospital in McComb, Miss. and weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces. Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney and the rest of the families had been waiting outside the birthing room.

After seeing her granddaughter, Joyce Aldridge said that the baby had “Casey's toes," reported People Magazine.

The new mommy and her fiancé Casey Aldridge, along with their baby, were resting in the maternity suite. Although they planned to marry soon, Jamie Lynn, 17, and Casey, 19, didn’t set a date.

The couple who met at a church shocked everybody in December when they announced they were going to be parents. In March, they announced their engagement.

Jamie Lynn’s family and friends are sure that she is going to be a good mother. Jamie Lynn’s cousin Margie Busby told People magazine that, in case she needs help, the baby’s grandmother is there to lend a hand.

Thursday, Nickelodeon issued a statement, saying "We wish her and her family well."
