Britney Spears' pregnant 16-year-old sister, Jamie Lynn, sparked engagement rumors after she spotted showing off a new engagement ring from her babydaddy Casey Aldrige, 18, People.com reported.

Apparently, the two teenagers who will become parents sometime this summer might be welcoming their kid, rumored to be a boy, as a married couple, although the reports are yet to be confirmed. According to insiders, Britney is said to oppose the wedding and even refuse to attend the ceremony when it will take place.

"She's got an engagement ring," a source close to the family was quoted by People as saying. "She's been showing it off, talking about it."

The "Zoey 101" star shocked everyone causing a media frenzy in December last year when she announced she was pregnant with her first baby.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she told OK! magazine at that time. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

"As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody," Jamie Lynn explained. "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."
