After so much fuss was made about her teenage pregnancy, it seems that Britney’s little sister is planning to end her status as an unmarried mother.

According to a new report by Ok! Magazine, the teenage Nickelodeon star and her 19-year-old boyfriend Casey Alridge started planning their wedding, which is supposed to take place before the end of 2008.

Jamie Lynn, who lives in her Liberty, Miss. home with Casey and their recently born baby, Maddie, said she wanted to have the wedding on their property, a source told Ok! Magazine.

It seems the Hollywood world has not affected Jamie much and she wants to keep things intimate and simple.

“She loves everything about the area where she lives. She’s not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills,” a friend of Jamie Lynn told OK!. “Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn’s style.”

Spears lives about thirty minutes away from her mother Lynn Spears, who resides in Kentwood, Louisiana.

The friend also says that Spears might ask her big sister Britney to serve as her maid of honor. As for the wedding dress, it appears that Jamie will keep it simple and natural as well. She will drop the haute couture in favor of a gown from “one of the better stores in Baton Rouge,” which is a very mature and unexpected move for a teenage girl who is in touch with the Hollywood glam. The insider also said that Jamie already managed to lose her pregnancy weight and was back at her pre-pregnancy shape, ready to wear a beautiful, fitted gown. The dress will reportedly be “strapless, but not figure-hugging,” as Jamie Lynn is “too young for that,” and also “fairly traditional in style.”

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her baby girl Maddie in June, at a Mississippi hospital. Everybody was shocked when she announced she was pregnant in December 2007 and that the father was 19-year-old Casey Alridge, the son of a Tennessee paper mill worker, whom she said she had met at a church. But after getting over the shock, Jamie Lynn’s friends and relatives focused on helping the teenage star handle the situation she was in. All her relatives declared for magazines that she was ready to be a mom and she would probably make a perfect one.

Eventually, the two teens announced their engagement in March and it was also rumored that Lynn’s mom, Lynne Spears, already drafted prenuptial agreement which would protect her daughter's finances in case the marriage did not work.

In the first half of May, Jamie Lynn has thrown a baby shower at her parents’ home, where she could reunite her sister Britney, whom she hadn’t seen for several months. The shower was also an intimate one, with only about 30 people invited at the small celebration.

Jamie Lynn has said she wants to raise her daughter as a down-to-earth girl, and did not want to keep her in the spotlights of Hollywood. Well...maybe just a bit…As she posed with Maddie on the cover of OK! Magazine in exchange for $1 million.
