The atrocious bomb attacks in Jaipur, India were finally claimed. A little-known militant group was responsible for the series of bombs detonated Tuesday in Jaipur according to the Indian police, Voice of America reported.

The group is known by the name of the Indian Mujahideen. The group sent a few video clips to the Indian media via e-mail proving their involvement in the attacks. The video recordings allegedly depicted a bicycle that was packed with explosives.

Most bombs that were detonated on Tuesday in Jaipur were planted on bicycles.

Two men suspected of being involved in the bombing were put under arrest on Wednesday by the local police. A sketch of a third suspect was also released by police.

The blood bath was labeled as "terrorist attacks" by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who condemned the attacks in a speech held in New York.

Authorities imposed a day-long curfew in Jaipur, capital of western Rajasthan state.

Seven bombs exploded in close succession in Jaipur on Tuesday evening killing at least 45 people and injuring 100 other.

The bombs, which were detonated within a few minutes of each other, exploded in crowded areas of the Indian city. One of them exploded near a temple dedicated to the Hindu monkey god, Hanuman. The area is frequently visited by tourists as well as the other areas where bombs exploded: the popular 18th-century tourist site, Hawa Mahal, and the Johri Bazaar, lined with jewelers.
