The actress and her Cuban DJ fiancee, Eric Cubiche, welcomed their baby boy, Dezi James, named after "I Love Lucy" icon and fellow Cuban Desi Arnaz, People magazine reported.

"My Name Is Earl" star gave birth at around 7 a.m. in Los Angeles to a healthy 6-pound-4-ounce baby, measuring 18.5 inches long.

"This kid is gorgeous!" the new mom enthused through her rep.

When she announced her pregnancy, after initially lying about it, she was excited about becoming a mother, but far from happy about her new looks.

"I was only one month pregnant, so I lied which is a woman's right," the Emmy-nominated star told Jay Leno after finally breaking the news on the Tonight Show.

"I looked in the mirror last night and said, 'Good God!' My (butt) is so wide. It's spread," Pressly told USA TODAY in March.

"Once I have the baby, I have to get back in the gym and go all GI Jane."

She was shocked by "things you cannot imagine happening to your body."

Like cellulite. "Never had it in my entire life. But you get it on your butt and thighs. On the front of your thighs! Above your knees! It's fat pockets that you accumulate." Plus, there are "the veins in your boobs, the dark spots on your face. It's incredible."

The 29-year-old actress and Eric Cubiche dated for 18 months before getting engaged in October 2006.

"I do want to be a princess for a day, but it's not necessary to do that before you have kids. A lot of women do it later," Pressly told People last year.
