The devilish grin, the raised eyebrows, the Academy Award-winning roles – yes, Jack Nicholson is giving it all in support of Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

An unusual video emerged last week on YouTube, consisting of cleverly edited clips from Jack Nicholson’s most famous movies, supporting the campaign of US Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The video, titled “Jack and Hill,” features excerpts from “Batman,” “The Shining,” “Chinatown” and “A Few Good Men.”

In character, Nicholson says things like “Who do you trust? Hubba hubba hubba, money money money, who do you trust?” and “Things could be better, things could be a whole lot better” and “I’ll make this as easy for you as I can,” all in reference to Clinton’s adequacy as President of the United States.

Also in character, he says, “There’s nothing sexier than a woman you have to salute” and “What can I tell you kid? You’re right!”

The video ends with Nicholson saying he “approved this message.” The video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times.

It debuted early Saturday on the video-sharing website and was created with help from director Rob Reiner, “Jack and Hill” spokesman Yusuf K. Robb told the Associated Press this weekend.

It was done without the Clinton campaign’s endorsement, Robb said.

In between excerpts, messages flash on screen reading Clinton has a health care plan and she also plans to bring the troops back home and restore the country’s credibility around the world.

Nicholson joins celebrity supporters of Clinton such as Steven Spielberg, Barbra Streisand and Reese Witherspoon.

A parodical video response in support of Clinton’s rival, Barack Obama, has already been posted, using other movie clips where Nicholson looks irate.

Obama is being endorsed by celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Robert De Niro and George Clooney.
