Remember when they used to call it “puppy love?” In those times, your mamma would watch you from the porch while your boyfriend gently took your hand and tried to kiss you on the cheek, so no one would see. In those times, kiddy love was just like any other kiddy thing, not meant to last, and definitely not as filthy and complicated as the matters of the grown-ups. Pure innocent love with no strings attached and no consequences.

And then there’s Hollywood, where children basically party harder than veteran rock stars and earn more money than legendary actors. Most of the teen celebrities suddenly find themselves in a situation that is behind their power of understanding, a complicated world where there’s no privacy, with paparazzi watching your every move. No one is sugarcoating anything and everything is being blown out of proportions.

Jamie-Lynn Spears found herself in a midst of one of the greatest scandals in the world, when her sister” oups, did it again” and entered that ugly faze of head shaving and crying on the sidewalk, while losing custody of her own children.

And as if things were not going bad enough for the celebrity family, one day Jamie comes up to her already-shaken mom and hands her a note that said "Mama, I'm pregnant. I'm going to keep the baby and everything is going to be okay."

And now, after the “storm,” as mother Lynne would say, when the 17-year-old and her new baby are healthy and happy, scandals after scandals keep targeting the Spears family.

First, there was the federal investigation in the matter of the personal photos of Jamie-Lynn breastfeeding and her breast exposed, suspected of leaking to the press. As she is still a minor, such images, although not taken in a sexual context, are considered by the law as “pornographic,” and mean some cool years behind the bars of a federal prison for the one caught selling them.

More recently, rumors of Britney’s baby sister being pregnant again were released to the press by alleged members of the family’s entourage. "Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical," a source told the National Enquirer.  "Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they're trying to keep the news from getting out."

The rumors, however, were denied, as were the ones about young daddy Casey Aldridge cheating on his fiancée and mother of his child.

The couple appeared in the latest issue of OK! Magazine and told the world that they are happy and in love and that none of the gossips are true, on the contrary."We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now.”

Asked about the alleged affairs, they both blame it on the small-town mentality. "What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea.' They all jumped on the bandwagon."

But, as young as they are, the two teen parents manage to get over the troubles and be a couple even stronger than other celebrity pairings in situations like these. "I'm just happy," Aldridge says. "I love Jamie and Maddie more than anything."
