Everybody knows how desperate Dina Lohan is to introduce her younger daughter Ali in Hollywood’s spotlights, but nobody thought the teen’s career will start in such a weird way.

In Sunday’s episode of reality series “Living Lohan,” aired by E!, Ali appears at a casting call for a role in the upcoming horror movie “Troll,” a remake of the 1986 film which is believed by many to have inspired author J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” books. Nothing unexpected so far. But…at a second glance…one of the men Ali Lohan was auditioning for was Peter Davy, the porn producer who became famous for several adult movies such as “Breast Wishes 14,” “Texas Crude” and “Bun Sisters 12.”

Davy also produced sci-fi dramas like “Saurian” or “The Eden Formula,” but those are irrelevant for the situation.

TMZ reported that sources said the audition was set up by Ali’s agent, while Ali and her mother Dina Lohan had no clue about the producer’s identity. On Sunday’s episode of the reality series, viewers could see a nervous Ali, as she was seriously preparing for the audition.

“My stomach is in knots” she says, “my heart’s beating really fast…I mean, these are like really big movie people, so it’s nerve-wracking.”

Ali also expresses her concern about what the producers “are thinking in their heads.” Well, she needn’t worry anymore, as she got the part, but it remains to be seen whether she will accept it, given the controversial rumors that started spreading.

Dina Lohan is now outraged, saying she had no idea her daughter had auditioned for a pornographer and blaming her teen daughter’s agent.

“Ali obviously had no idea about Davy's past,” Ali’s rep told Usmagazine.com. “If she did know, she never would have auditioned for him.”

The “Living Lohan” series focuses on the way Dina Lohan fights to make her teenage daughter famous. She has done quite a good job so far, it appears, as Ali’s single “All The Way Around,” which was released earlier this month, has maintained a spot on the iTunes Top 100 since its debut.
