An Illinois man loves Pabst Blue Ribbon beer so much that he ordered a custom-made beer-can casket and plans to be buried in it.

Bill Bramanti’s coffin looks just like a can of his favorite brew at a much larger scale.

The firm which received the unusual casket order was of Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home in Chicago Heights. Scott Sign Co. of Chicago Heights was responsible with the design of the strange coffin which has on it the beer label in the company's signature colors of red, white and blue. The manufacturers assured the man that his coffin will look exactly like a Pabst Blue Ribbon can.

However, the 67-year-old beer lover doesn’t expect to need the strange coffin anytime soon.

Bramanti said he is using it as a cooler for now and it did so on Saturday when he threw a party with his friends. He filled the casket with ice and beer (what else but Pabst Blue Ribbon?).

The 5-feet-9, 280 pounds tried the coffin to see if it fist.

"I actually fit, because I got in here," Bramanti of South Chicago Heights, Illinois.
said.

"Why put such a great novelty piece up on a shelf in storage when you could use it only the way Bill Bramanti would use it?" Bramanti's daughter, Cathy Bramanti, 42, said according to The Associated Press.
