Hugh Hefner was on headlines when he ditched the three “Girls Next Door” babes for 19-year-old twins, Karissa and Kristina Shannon. And since the mogul got us all used to the sexy trio he is always accompanied by, he added a third girl to his entourage, not to be under anyone’s expectations, of course.

 

Crystal Harris, the lesser-known girlfriend, is a blonde 22-year-old psychology student at San Diego State University who has been seen with Hef on several occasions but who has never been officially introduced to the world. She believes that has not happened until recently because the twin girlfriends got all the attention.

 

Harris introduced herself on an E! online message board over the holidays, telling fans that Hef gave her permission to fill people in on the new updates concerning the changes occurred in the Playboy Mansion. This turned out to be the perfect opportunity for Harries to say hi to the world as Hugh Hefner’s latest “piece of collection.” She described herself as "a good girl, for the most part," an animal rights advocate who loves the outdoors, the rain, fast cars, caring and honest people, good food and great company. Oh, and posing for the camera and blogging on MySpace too! Despite her low profile, Harris already has a fan site, but seems to focus most of her attention on her MySpace page, filled with Disney characters, cute animals, inspirational quotes and lots of pink.

 

She insisted upon the fact that Hugh Hefner is not seeing anyone else. "There are a couple that we have interest in ... As for now, it is just us three," as she added on her personal page on MySpace.

 

Harris hasn't posed for her boyfriend's magazine yet, but appeared in a series of topless and semi-nude photos in late October under the name "Crystal Carter."

Surely, former Playboy girlfriend, the newly engaged Kendra Wilkinson, would not be surprised to see Hefner dating three babes again. Last year she stated, according to the same source: "You can never change him. Hef will keep going on. He'll keep loving women, keep loving the big boobs and blondes..." which leaves us to conclude that Hef will always be Hef!
