This time, he’s not kidding. The self-proclaimed King of All
Media finally chose his queen. Howard Stern, 54, and Beth Ostrosky, 36, tied
the knot on Friday night following a lengthy engagement.
The A-list event took place at New York
City’s exquisite Le Cirque restaurant and Kelly Ripa’s
husband, Mark Consuleos, who recently became an ordained minister, was the one
to perform the beautiful ceremony.
Approximately 180 guests attended the wedding, including
television host Jimmy Kimmel, Emmy-winning comedian Sarah Silverman, radio host
Adam Carolla, media personality Barbara Walters, singer Billy Joel and wife
Katie Lee, Joan Rivers, Howard Stern’s radio co-hosts Artie Lang and Robin Quivers,
actor Chevy Chase, business magnate Donald Trump and wife Melania, as well as
Emmy Award-nominated actor John Stamos.
While Chevy Chase made a toast to the
newlyweds, Billy Joel performed “The Stranger.”
Stern’s fashion model bride wore a Marquesa wedding dress
for the much-awaited event, as the shock jock proposed to Beth Ostrosky last
year, on Valentine’s Day.
Although Stern announced in 2006 that he and his girlfriend
had secretly married, he later explained it was only a joke and announced the
real engagement in February 2007.
Another overwhelming event sparked rumors saying that the
couple had tied the knot on the sly when the couple organized a big family
celebration at their Hamptons
residence. Nevertheless, Howard Stern subsequently said that the party was a
mere celebration of their back then approaching marriage.
Stern and Ostrosky have been a couple for approximately
eight years. Yesterday’s event represents the first marriage for Ostrosky, who
thus becomes a step-mom to Stern’s three daughters. The radio host has been
involved in another marriage, but divorced his wife Alison in 2000.
He may have promised to never walk down the aisle again, but
this did not stop Stern to say “I do” at Le Cirque on Friday.
