Police was called at Hillary Clinton Campaign Office in New Hampshire after a hostage situation was reported by an eye-witness, WMUR reported.

Officials with the campaign confirmed that there were two workers taken hostage in the office on 28 North Main St..

The hostage-taker released a woman and a her baby, who alarmed the workers at a neighboring business who called the police.

According to the witnesses who spoke with WMUR, the man is about 40-years old. Witnesses said the man walked into the Clinton office, opened his coat and showed a bomb strapped to his chest with duct tape, WMUR reported. He ordered people to lie down on the floor.

A New Hampshire state police spokesman, Michael Hambrook, said police had sent bomb disposal experts in response to reports that a man "alleged to have an explosive device on his person" entered the office.

Senator Hillary Clinton was scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. at a Democratic National Committee event, but canceled the talk because of the situation, DNC Chairman Howard Dean said.
