Police was called at Hillary Clinton Campaign Office in New Hampshire after a hostage
situation was reported by an eye-witness, WMUR reported.
Officials with the campaign confirmed that there were two
workers taken hostage in the office on 28 North Main St..
The hostage-taker released a woman and a her baby, who
alarmed the workers at a neighboring business who called the police.
According to the witnesses who spoke with WMUR, the man is about 40-years old. Witnesses said the man walked into the Clinton office, opened his coat and showed a
bomb strapped to his chest with duct tape, WMUR reported. He ordered people to
lie down on the floor.
A New Hampshire
state police spokesman, Michael Hambrook, said police had sent bomb disposal
experts in response to reports that a man "alleged to have an explosive
device on his person" entered the office.
Senator Hillary Clinton was scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. at
a Democratic National Committee event, but canceled the talk because of the
situation, DNC Chairman Howard Dean said.
