Holly Madison, who broke up with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner just weeks ago, and illusionist Criss Angel stepped up together as a couple at the Gala Premiere Of "Criss Angel Believe" by Cirque Du Soleil Friday night.

Madison and the "Mindfreak" magician attended the grand opening of Angel's Cirque Du Soleil show where he had nothing but words of praise for his date, "This is one of the most special evenings for me in my life and I can not think of a more beautiful person, a more special person, inside and out, than Holly to spend it with."

Asked how he and Madison met, Angel said he god lucky, "I didn't have a date and so she said, 'I'll come'. She makes me look good."

Immediately after the show, the couple headed towards an after-party together where they continued to hold hands and snuggle.

After being Hugh Hefner's No. 1 girlfriend for over seven years, "The Girl Next Door" broke up with the Playboy mogul because she wanted to be somebody she could have more of a future, "Hef and I can't get married and have kids... so it was fun while it lasted but it wasn't right for my old age. I got too old for Hef," Madison, who said her goal was to have a child before turning 30, told "Extra" in a recent interview, which airs on Wednesday, November 5th. She eventually left the mansion after numerous attempts to become pregnant.

Hefner himself confirmed the split last month admitting to being "down in the dumps" about losing her, "If Holly says it's over, I guess it's over," he told The Associated Press.

Source claim that Hefner's former flame and Angel, who was previously linked to Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears and the reigning Miss Nevada Veronica Grabowski, have been dating for several months.
However, both Madison and Hefner denied that she was secretly dating Angel, at least until Hefner replaced her. Madison Kendra Wilkinson announced their respective splits from Hefner last month, and were quickly replaced by 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon as the objects of the octogenarian's affection.

"He does not waste any time, but I'm happy for him. I want him to be busy and happy and having fun," Madison told "Extra." "It might be refreshing to date someone who is not high maintenance. Sorry, Hef, you know you're high maintenance. I love you but you know you're high maintenance."

And yet, Madison revealed she and Hefner are still very close friends and she continues to work for him, "I still call and check in on him almost everyday," she said.

In the meantime, Hefner remains married to his second wife and mother of his two teenage sons, Kimberley Conrad, who is dating music mogul Quincy Jones. The 45-year-old former Playmate of the Year lives next door to Hefner with their sons. The couple married in 1989 and separated in 1999 but remain legally married.
