Hillary Clinton to Accept Obama’s Proposition and Become Secretary of State

New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will most likely be designated secretary of state by President-Elect Barack Obama and this move is already being hailed as a very good one.

According to some inside sources, Sen. Hillary Clinton has already decided to accept Obama’s proposition after intense courting from his transition team. It was not an easy decision to make. At first, she allegedly wanted to turn down the offer in order to maintain her independence in the Senate, but after Obama’s transition team insisted, she is reportedly determined to go for it, ABC News reported.

The former Firs Lady, "a lady of great intelligence" as Republican lion Henry Kissinger described her, is regarded as a "very formidable" choice, said GOP warrior and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. This “great move,” as Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger labeled it, will be welcomed by the Senate Republicans who said they will gladly approve Hillary Clinton as the United States state secretary.

Let me say that this is quite a transformation considering the fact that during the summer the Republicans even developed StopHerNow.com, a Web site built to destroy Hillary Clinton’s political career.

Even Obama is playing hard to understand. He kind of based his presidential campaign on the assertion that “change doesn’t come from Washington — change comes to Washington.” However, he is now assembling a government that includes several Washington veterans of the political era that he is now allegedly replacing. And in the same, difficult to understand, way, Obama is turning Hillary Clinton, his bitter primary rival and former First Lady, into his secretary of state.

The formal announcement is planned for after Thanksgiving Day.
