“High School Musical 2”, the second installment of the popular 2006 teen movie, is to hit the screens tonight. So, kids, parents and grandmas and grandpas, prepare yourselves for the new “High School Musical 2”, the movie you have been waiting the whole year for!

Just a year ago “High School Musical” amazed everybody, the critics and audiences! No one was expecting the apparently common Disney’s Friday-night movie to become such a TV hit. And it has been not only a smashing hit, but also a pop cultural phenomenon amongst the teenagers and their parents, who have had to buy them the popular movie. This way, “High School Musical” quickly and easily become last year’s best-selling CD.

So, for the second part of the “High School Musical” series, the same singing kid-actors are on, trying to entertain you again. Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens, playing and singing as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez respectively, and Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel as Sharpay Evans and Ryan Evans, have grown up a little bit since the first movie, but they are still young and talented, and willing to rock your world.

So, although the summer vacation has arrived, the kids are still active, competing, plotting and singing, eventually trying to make their vacation unforgettable. But, in this movie, it won’t be the high school’s stage where the action will take place, but a Lava Springs country club. However, the kids are still funny and their adventures have the same joyful taste, so that Kenny Ortega’s musical should reiterate the first part’s success.
