A remake or a sequel of Disney’s 1982 movie Tron has been discussed for many years, and even though not many new things have been revealed concerning the project, it is known that Olivia Wilde and Beau Garret have been cast to play in the upcoming movie. Olivia Wilde is known for playing in the very successful House M.D. series, where she portrays the character of a young doctor leaving with the information of having Huntington’s disease.

 Tron 2 will be based mostly on the original story but will have the special effects and will benefit from the technology of today.

Garret Hedlund was chosen by Disney to star in the sequel of the famous 1982 movie. Hedlund’s  is mostly known for his roles in "Friday Night Lights," "Four Brothers" and "Troy."

Tron is the fantasy of every gamer, as the story of the original movie concerns a gifted programmer who is double-crossed and which has to go past several harsh security programs in order to dig up evidence clearing his name.  Tron is among the first films that used computer graphics extensively and for the time it was produced those effects really look good.

Tron is about technology, but it should have a nice retro feel to it in order to preserve the original story and the sensations the first movie offered to its viewers. Tron 2 will be directed by Joseph Kosinski and fans of the original movie are excited to see the sequel they have been waiting for so many years.
