The TV star Heather Locklear, who is famous for her
impersonation of Amanda Woodward in TV
series “Melrose Place”, has checked into
an Arizona clinic, where she will receive treatment for depression and anxiety.
Her publicist released a statement saying that Heather
Locklear requested an in depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a
medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment.
The 46 year-old Heather Locklear is also known for her role
as Sammy Jo Carrington on the 80s soap opera Dynasty.
Heather Locklear married Richie Sambora, the guitarist of
the rock band Bon Jovi, in 1994, after she divorced Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy
Lee.
In February 2006, Heather Locklear’s publicist announced
that the couple has filed the divorce papers and, according to Richie Sambora
the couple has been separated since December 2005. The couple has one daughter,
Ava Elizabeth, born in 1997.
After the separation was announced, Richie Sambora started
dating Denise Richards. In May last year, Heather Locklear announced she has a relationship
with Jack Wagner, who played the role of Dr. Peter Burns in “Melrose Place”
Heather Locklear has recently appeared on “Rules of
Engagement” and “Hannah Montana,” as the mother of one of the title character’s
friends. She just finished filming “Flying By,” a movie featuring Billy Ray
Cyrus, in which she plays the wife of a real estate developer who reunites his
high-school rock band.
