“Harry Potter And Deathly Hollows” Leaked Online?

According to a report from the Danish tabloid BT a pirate copy of the latest book in Harry Potter series is circulating on the Web.

The online site of the newspaper BT said that 396 pages of an English-language copy of the book have been photographed digitally and uploaded onto the internet.

“Harry Potter And Deathly Hollows”, the seventh and reportedly last in the popular series, will hit the store shelves on Saturday and its final was kept under very tight security by UK publisher Bloomsbury.

On Sunday the British media reported that publishers Bloomsbury have rented properties in London to store the freshly printed copies of the eagerly awaited novel and have put in place an operation "featuring an army of guards, satellite tracking systems and draconian legal contracts". Also for delivering the books to the booksellers Bloomsbury rented trucks with satellite tracking systems.

The secret of book’s ending is known only to Rowling and 20 others (illustrators, editors and continuity experts).

The security bill for preventing the early release of seventh and final book in the Harry Potter saga is close to $20 million or 10 million pounds, reports said.

Speaking about the report that a copy of the book has leaked online a spokesman for UK publisher Bloomsbury said that the Rowling and her publishers were confident that the leak was a hoax, and fans will only get their hands on the true version when it hits bookstores on July 21.

"Lots of people claim to have copies of the book - but as far as we are concerned the true version has not been leaked," The Sun quoted the rep, as saying.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," is already Amazon's most pre-ordered item, with about 1.6 million copies bought globally ahead of its release on July 21, the online retailer said.

According to Amazon, the previous record of 1.5 million pre-ordered copies was set by J.K Rowling’s sixth novel of the Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" in 2005.

US bookseller Barnes Nobles announced that pre-orders for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the J.K. Rowling Harry Potter series, total more than 1.2 million, the largest number of pre-orders for any book in the company's history.
