HTC has been in the center of attention lately as the G1 was believed to be a real competitor for the iPhone and a real innovative device because of the Android operating system it is working on.
HTC has recently brought to the market another device, called Fuse, that is targeted at business people, who usually need a very capable smartphone. The price tag for Fuze is a pretty affordable $300 and the phone is rich in features and features a very impressing display, but some think it’s not capable of posing any real problems for other more popular smartphones out there.
The HTC Fuze is a slightly modified HTC Touch Pro that can run on AT&T’s 3G network, it features a 2.8 inches VGA touch screen, is a bit heavier than the Touch Pro and it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. The most significance difference between the Touch Pro and Fuze is that the latter has an integrated Qwerty keyboard and that it features a card slot, for extra storage. The slide out Qwerty keyboard is an excellently added feature to the phone, as the on-screen keyboard had a habit of feeling slow and it covered up most of the important parts one was typing.
All in all, the Fuze is an excellent addition to the HTC family and though nothing was immensely improved, the phone acts fast to commands, the browser has good loading times and the high quality materials the phone is made from offers an excellent look and a pretty good sensation to the one who is using the device.
