The New Xbox Experience is getting better and better as it was recently announced that major streaming company Netflix will join forces with the gaming platform provided by Microsoft.
Netflix will make its HD video content available for Xbox users starting November 19th, this move being considered by many as a real challenge for other similar devices such as the Playstation and Wii. The New Xbox experience is one of the most awaited things by gamers around the world and with the recent price cuts it’s too hard to think that Microsoft’s Xbox won’t be an even greater success than it already is.
Netflix has announced that besides its video gallery containing 12, 000 titles it will also allow Xbox users to access at the push of a joystick a selection of 300 HD movies. Knowing that Netflix cuts deals with movie producers constantly we can only expect that in time the offer will grow, becoming more and more entertaining, ultimately, transforming into an all-you-can-watch source. It has been announced that only Xbox Live gold members will be able to access the Netflix capabilities on the ever so popular gaming console.
It has been interesting how gaming consoles started evolving, slowly managing to take over more entertaining fields. People already started wondering if in the nearby future the standard living room equipped with this kind of technology will have the need for something else. Movies, games and Internet in one device is all some people are asking from the perfect entertainment platform.
