Newly divorced British director Guy Ritchie is no longer single. While Madonna has been rumored to be romantically involved with Yankee's baseball player Alex Rodriguez, Ritchie was spotted cozying up to British millionaire heiress Jemima Khan, who dated Hugh Grant.

Ritchie, who was just awarded a huge pile of Madonna's cash as part of their divorce settlement, is making a move on the London socialite. According to a mutual friend, the two have become "very fond of each other."

Earlier this month the pair was seen attending the same dinner party in the posh Notting Hill area of London. The host was Matthew Freud, a public relations chief for Freud Communications. This past weekend, they were back at Matthew's house for his Christmas party joining other holiday revelers such as Stella and Mary McCartney, Lily Allen, Mick Jagger and Kevin Spacey. Also reportedly in attendance was Sting's wife Trudie Styler, who introduced Ritchie to Madonna in 1999.

And although it might be hard to believe, a friend of Madonna's said the pop star is thrilled at the prospects of her ex-husband moving on, as it makes things easier for everyone.

The 33-year-old daughter of Lady Annabel Goldsmith and the late Sir James Goldsmith, Jemima Khan split with actor Hugh Grant in February last year. She was also formerly married to Pakistani cricket player Imran Khan with whom she has two children. They ended their marriage in 2004.

Ritchie and Madonna announced they were getting divorced in October, following rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. The former couple was granted a preliminary divorce in November and settled for an undisclosed amount, which Madonna’s rep claims to be as much as $76 million for Ritchie.
