Google Announced Plug-Ins For Chrome

The Internet is part of our lives for some quite some time, meaning that the tools we use for accessing it have also evolved and started being more and more sophisticated. Currently, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is the world’s most used Internet browser, followed by Mozilla Firefox, holding the record for most downloads in a day. Of course, there is also the popular Safari and Opera, which have a long history and a very solid user base.

Google is an old company on the Internet, but has just stepped into the field of internet browsers, with Chrome. Google’s browser caused a lot of excitement when it appeared and though it is still in beta form, people have the tendency to try it out and see what the fuss is all about.

Related to Chrome everybody’s main complaints were that it has no plug-ins, like Firefox has, more specifically no ads and flash blockers. It seems that Google has listened carefully to what people had to say and have announced that they will implement a system which will allow third party plug-ins to be installed with Chrome. Most importantly, the first plug-ins to be announced will be the ads and flash blockers, so much needed by Chrome.

Internet Explorer and other browsers with a history have imposed a standard in this domain and with this being said, Google is trying to change all that with Chrome that uses a slightly different approach to Internet browsing. Google hasn’t announced yet when these changes will be implemented, but Google fans are waiting with excitement for the alternative that Chrome offers.
