Hamburg - Formula One driver Timo Glock believes there is a good chance of FIA ruling in favour of the diffusers being used by Williams, Brawn GP and his Toyota team.

Motorsport's ruling body will hear the protests lodged by BMW- Sauber, Ferrari and Red Bull against the controversial designs on Tuesday in Paris.

"Three teams had the same idea. This shows that they believed it was legal from the start," Glock told the German ZDF national television network.

Glock said he would be surprised if the teams were punished for using the diffusers, which improve aerodynamic performance but which the protesting teams believe give their rivals an unfair advantage and break racing regulations.

Race commissioners at the two opening races in Melbourne and Malaysia ruled that the diffusers were legal.

Brawn drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello claimed a stunning one-two finish in Australia while Button also took the chequered flag in the Malaysian GP, which was shortened due to weather conditions.
