An employee of the company that makes the Girls Gone Wild franchise, thirty-seven-year-old Matthew O'Sullivan of Los Angeles has pleaded not guilty to sexually attacking a woman aboard a bus outside a New York bar, after being charged with first-degree criminal sexual act. He faces five to 25 years in prison if convicted.
Several press reports claim that Matthew O'Sullivan eyeballed the 20-year-old victim in the Nubar tavern in Smithtown, the Long Island area. He subsequently asked her to join him in the Girls Gone Wild bus at 2 a.m., which she accepted. Once inside, the two began kissing and touching, to which she consented.
However, the woman miscalculated what was going on and Matthew O'Sullivan allegedly started pulling down her shorts and underwear. When she resisted, O'Sullivan apparently tried to force her to stay, but she broke free when her friends came on the bus. Subsequently, 911 was called and police came to arrest Matthew O'Sullivan, who locked himself in the bus. However, he eventually gave up and opened the doors.
Judge Toni Bean set bail at $200,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail, and it is unclear whether he hired a lawyer. The Girls Gone Wild series is produced by Joseph R. Francis through his Mantra Entertainment company. The videos in the series involve exposure of the breasts and/or buttocks and vagina by attractive young women whom their camera crew pickup in party-heavy areas.
